Default Leather Tooling

Can anyone recommend a good way to start off leather tooling or how to do it in general? I'd like to start to learn how and have always loved and appreciated the look and feel of really nice tooled leather work. Thanks!

I'd start with a basic seven set and a rawhide or nylon hammer. It comes with a few of the basic tools and a swivel knife. There are some books available to help you get started. My best advice is to practice practice practice. I'm better than I was last year at this time but, I still have a long way to go. It's just like training horses each one will be better than the next. Best of luck......
