Default Hello from the High Plains of Colorado

Hi all,

I am a 5th generation horsemen of my family. I have zeroed in on Vaquero/Buckroo style of horsemanship like my grandfather and grandmother rode in sunny San Diego Ca. back in the 40's and 50's. It kind of skipped over my parents due to the economy and so on. But in the latter years they enjoyed western pleasure riding the trails east of San Diego. My trusty steed Montana (APHA) seems to like Vaquero style horsemanship. We've been in CMSA and ExCA events over the years together for something fun to do and many a trail ride in California, Oregon and Washington. Now we're in Colorado and are getting into ranch roping and ranch versatility weekends with friends and neighbors. So we've been together now going on 10years over several states and 1000s of miles! Time seems to fly when on horseback having fun.
